Director of Aberdeen-based AVC Media Enterprises, Spencer Buchan, has been short-listed for the prestigious Director of the Year Awards, run annually by the Institute of Directors Scotland. 

Spencer has been short-listed in the Emerging Director of the Year category and comes just weeks after being appointed Managing Director of AVC’s wholly owned subsidiary, AVC Creative. This is a significant achievement both on a personal and company level, recognising his ongoing dedication and enthusiastic outlook to the profession of directorship. Spencer explains:

I am delighted to have been short-listed for this award for the second year in a row and feel that it is testament to AVC’s ongoing investment, dedication to its employees and overall business ethos. Spencer’s nomination also recognises his individual strengths and career achievements including how he has helped to boost company performance, contributed towards the wider community and his individual views towards corporate governance.

Award winners are to be announced at a gala reception and dinner ceremony on Thursday, March 18^th, at The Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh.
