After a competitive tendering process, AVC has been awarded the contract for the design of a new website for Camphill School Aberdeen and the development of a tailored content management system.

Camphill School Aberdeen is an independent school for vulnerable children and young adults. The school offers residential places for pupils from all over the country as well as day places for local pupils.

The new website will aim to increase awareness of Camphill School, both locally and nationally, building on its current reputation and attracting new pupils to the school. The website will also be used as an important tool to raise the profile of Camphill School as an innovator of child-centred projects, an active research community and a respected contributor to professional literature. In addition it will seek to strengthen, as well as build new relationships and links, within the local and business communities.

The new site will act as an essential marketing tool for attracting new pupils. The design will reflect the warm and inviting nature of the school itself and will appeal equally to the wide range of visitors that view and use the site.”

The new website is due to launch in February 2010.
